Photo-Finish Friday.

It’s good to be back doing a bit of blogging.

For me, this IS Brit Grit.

I took this photo last year at a well known pub, The Drovers Inn, not far from Loch Lomond.  Two classic British motors.  The Ford Cortina and Ford Capri.  They were in mint condition and were a throwback straight to the days of The Sweeney!

Brit Grit!

Photo-Finish Friday is the creation of Leah J. Utas.

Have a great weekend, people!

  1. David, good to have you back. Love the graffiti ( and will obey). Those cars remind me of growing up in the seventies. Thanks.

  2. Two real beauties. Over here I think we called one the Maverick.

  3. Detroit Iron, drive in window trays . . . oh man, memories. Thanks, David.

  4. Our Dek had a burgundy Capri. We were cool back then. 😉

  5. Great pic. Spent most of 1976 in the UK (avoiding the Bicentennial). Brings back memories of Scotch eggs, Newcastle brown, The Wurzels, and half-crown gas meters. Those were the days, my friend.

  6. Not sure why I went plural there. 🙂

  7. Never been a fan of the Maverick style, but those are some damn clean sleds. Hope you chit chatted with the owners.

Maverick’s, by the way, made great pasture runners.
